Okay, so this year has a lot of exciting travel, but this stop was here in Salem for a dear friend of mine!! The beautiful bride wanted to do a winery and a “color themed” night. So we all picked colors and matching wigs, THEN made drinks to match accordingly to our color. After we pre-gamed HARD, we went out bar hopping and to a local club (If night deposit is considered a club).
I was Lavender, i’ve been in a phase lately on pink and lavender. I made a lavender vodka soda for my drink and called it “Lavender Haze” because we all know I am a Swiftie. It was honestly an amazing time. This was my first time seeing the bride to be, intoxicated and I loved every second of it. She has golden retriever energy when she drinks and she is literally a sweet angel.
I am always nervous about being around a group of girls however, her friends were over all really lovely. Someone actually showed up in the same dress as me, after the initial shock I ended up having the best time and we kind of did a “thing 1 and thing 2” deal. We weirdly had so much in common.
The maid of honor is also one of my close friends and she did an amazing job. Seeing her and the bride-to-be in the club, you could see they are soul sisters. It made me so happy to be around such a great group of humans.
PRE GAME HIGHLIGHTS: having every single kind of colorful drink imagineable, boujee charcuterie boards, pin the penis on the soon to be husband, do or drink. Honestly, seeing everyone get creative with their drinks was so fun. My favorite drink of the night was a “Pink pussy shot” I had 3 because I couldn’t get enough.
BAR 1: This was so fun showing up with a blow up penis so we could make everyone take pics with it for a TikTok video we wanted to make. Any guy that said no I basically gaslighted them.. Hit them with the “oh you’re not comfortable with your masculinity? ok no worries” 9/10 of them took a picture after that. Sorry but my bride wants ONE thing and you’re going to do it, thanks bye. It was a great time. She even tried to play pool with the blow up penis.
NIGHT CLUB: Look, we danced our little hearts out here. They have a pole and cages to dance in and every single one of us did one of those. It was such a fun group of girls. The good thing about being in a big group of girls is that men leave you alone.
DOWNSIDE: I was hungover and socialized out, took a nap and slept through the bridal shower the next day. However, I saw pictures and OMG if you need anything planned you should absolutely follow this page on IG. Rachel does amazing work!! @Bubblybrideplanningllc
